ABOUT

Sarah has a foundation in classical violin and piano, with an unlimited interest in different music styles. Her playing techniques have been influenced from several genres including: Scottish/Irish, Cajun/Zydeco, jazz, blues, traditional country, modern country, and all eras of American rock-n-roll. The result is a dynamic playing style that utilizes heavy bowing as well as trills and vibrato. She enjoys experimenting with effects and an electric fiddle just as much as bringing the traditional sound of an acoustic violin. Most of all, she loves playing on material where fiddle is not expected. On the vocal front, she is a strong soprano and an accomplished background / harmony singer.

Over the years, Sarah has played in numerous groups throughout the United States' Great Lakes, Midwest, Carolinas, and Northeast regions. She has had experience with cover, mixed, and original music projects and has musically and lyrically joined male, female, duet, and group fronted bands. While she loves the rush of being on stage, Sarah has traded her on-stage energy for the occasional studio recording (both in audio tracks and music videos) with groups like Banders Row and the Chip Perry Band.

Her stage performances have included openers for dozens of national acts including: Tracy Lawrence, Charlie Daniels, Colt Ford, Jason Michael Carroll, JJ Lawhorn, Outshyne, Honeysuckle Ridge, Connor Christian, Ross Coppley, Corey Hunt, Lady Antebellum, Reckless Kelly, Jerrod Niemann, Jimmie Allen, Parker McCollum, Pecos & the Rooftops, Micky & The Motorcars, Confederate Railroad, Bucky Covington, Craig Campbell, Kameron Marlowe, Shenandoah and The Kentucky Headhunters.

No matter if she is entertaining as a musician, a vocalist, or an out-right clown, Sarah pulls together several points of musical, vocal, and performance inspiration, including: Neil Woodward, Gram Rea, Joe Caverlee, Justin Williamson, Charlie Daniels, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Jean Luc Ponty, Bond, Miranda Lambert, Jennifer Nettles, Andrew Lloyd Weber, Judy Garland, and Adele.
